It seems like every year I end up reminding people to backup their data; this year is no exception. I don’t have a preference on how you do it…an external hard drive kept at a different location from where your computer sleeps, Carbonite, Dropbox, a flash drive. The important part is that you never have just one copy of your files in existence at a time. Any time you do, you are vulnerable to a single point of failure at which point you’ll rely on a professional for data recovery. Please don’t put yourself in that position; it’s no fun for us either to have that kind of pressure. Please message or call with any questions; we can certainly help guide you in developing a regular backup solution that will work for you and will not break the bank.
